The Beginning

Let me start by saying I never thought we would be making soap or have a blog, but here we are and we are very excited to start this new chapter! So who exactly is Wind River Creations? We are a couple who absolutely loves our outdoor adventures, fishing, hunting and our Wyoming lifestyle. We both absolutely love cooking, creating and building new things. Change is important for personal growth and we wanted to start something that challenged us in new ways and allowed us freedom to grow creatively.

We started throwing around different ideas and one evening Andy said "Let's make soap!" I knew a little bit about the basic process but not a lot. Intrigued by the idea we started doing a lot of learning and investigating what it would take to make our own products. The more I dug into the subject the more we realized it was right up our alley. There are endless creative possibilities with soap making, and we have absolutely fallen in love with it. We make everything from raw ingredients and turn out beautiful soaps and bath products that we love using ourselves and we hope other people love them too!

This journey is just starting for us and we are looking forward to seeing where we end up.
